A dream about time and love About a boy named Lucas who decided to stay behind, lost in a pocket of time and space because of some giant rock that an alien monster dropped/left that could be the key to time travel. However, it could also kill him and the enthusiastic mad scientist he's stuck with because the large amounts of radiation the rock is emitting. About an older girl who fell in the love with the boy in the short amount of time they spent together. When he helped babysit her younger brother to allow her rest to the awkward moment where they had to share a bed and he "accidentally" rested his hand on her hip when they were laying together. To when she first held his hand and decided to never let go. When the monster first attacked he protected her as best as he could, even if it meant he would be harmed. Then the alien rock came, with a timer it looked like, it was counting down to something like a bomb. The radiation it emitted burned the skin when you got too close. If felt heavy and hot, uncomfortably so, like an extreme sunburn you wanted to itch at. The three tried to run past but unbeknownst to her the other get trapped in a pocket dimension behind her. She manages to find her way back into that space, by sheer luck she didn't know, but time for them seemed to be moving so fast/slow it was hard to tell. They think they could crack the purpose of this rock, harness its abilities to time/space travel, and hopefully from preventing the thing from destroying Earth. The boy decides to stay with the scientists. Wanting to help in anyway he can and keep the other man company so they wouldn't lose their mind. He was a good person like that, always thinking of others. Always willing to help for the betterment of the world. She wanted him to go with her, to experience life and love with her and return to their friends and family. But he couldn't. He had to stay and help. Of course he did. With tears in her eyes he walks her out of the pocket dimension turning to tell him to send her messages every day, through text or email. Hoping that she'll get either of them. Then the image of him in front of her slowly faded, like glitch in the matrix as if he didn't exist. But she remembers. She remembers him. She remember them. Even if the world's interests slowly began to fade as the story of the alien rock and brave men who are with it began to fade from the public eye. Sometimes she'd return to that spot. To see if she could somehow reenter that pocket dimension again. She never could.
